Homage is the protocol for reminting NFTs. Remints are NFTs that replicate another NFT while preserving the original. Reminting reimagines what it means to take a picture of something on the internet. Anyone can remint any NFT, and in doing so supports the creator and owner of the original work. Royalties go to the owner of the original and the work is distributed to more fans, all while protecting the properties of the original. As a permissionless and transparent protocol, Homage allows fans to create mementos of their favorite NFTs while supporting their creators and owners, too.
Homage was started by Chris Min. He was one of the first engineers at Dharma (acquired by OpenSea). There, he helped build some of the first lending protocols and smart contract wallets on Ethereum, which together processed tens of millions of dollars.
Homage is currently building its core team. We're looking for a Founding Engineer to help make internet fandom positive-sum. Building on public blockchains presents novel engineering and product-building challenges. The Founding Engineer will tackle these head on—building infrastructure to process protocol events in real time, novel UX paradigms for interacting with blockchains, and more. They will thoughtfully balance our needs to ship today and scale to meet the demands of tomorrow. Together, we will build Homage from the ground up.
